The island of St. Maarten – Dutch side of the island – is located in the Caribbean and is the smallest island in the world shared by two countries – the Netherlands and France -, a fact that provides a European atmosphere with Caribbean flair. As the “gastronomic capital of the Caribbean,” St. Maarten offers an eclectic variety of cuisines in more than 365 restaurants, one for each day of the year, to satisfy every taste and budget. The island offers a diverse range of sports activities, as well as 37 pristine beaches, renowned hotels, spas, casino and trendy nightlife. St. Maarten can be visited as well as St. Martin – French side of the island – the neighboring islands: St. Barthelemy, Anguilla and Saba. Remember that St. Maarten is a duty free island, that is, tax-free and an excellent choice for shopping.
St. Maarten intensifies its actions in South America
St. Maarten invests in Brazil and South America market for approximately 20 years. Since then, the island has never failed to focus efforts and resources in this region. With the beginning of the operations of the Copa Airlines flight, the activities of St. Maarten were intensified in South America.
General coordination of the promotion and marketing actions for the launch and maintenance of the PTY/SXM/PTY route in the main cities of Latin America. Creation, coordination and execution of advertising campaigns for Copa Vacations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Panama.
Large increase in South American operators to offer packages to St. Maarten. Due to its initiatives in the promotion of St. Maarten, Interamerican Network was awarded by Copa Airlines as the best marketing campaign of destinations in Latin America.
