1. Interamerican Research: Impacts of COVID-19 on Tourism in Latin
America
Interamerican Network joins efforts with main media outlets and associations in Latin
America to find out the perception of the consumer and the outlook for the sector after the
COVID-19 pandemic. The results show reliable insights for companies and tourists to
prepare and resume their travel plans. The survey was conducted in the first half of June
2020. In the second semester, Interamerican Network partnered with the Tourism Council
of FecomercioSP to conduct the second wave of this research, which results are shown in
this document, under Market Landscape and Scenario.
